Staten Island Nightlife: NYPD cancer benefit rocks Big Nose Kate’s

By March 14, 2017News

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — As drinks flowed from the bar, bodies began to fill the venue — and the music rocked strong until the wee hours of the morning.

This is nothing new for Five Time Foundation founder Rich Canci who, in partnership with Blue Lives Matter and Team Entertainment, packed out Big Nose Kate’s in Rossville Saturday evening.

The “Rock for Rispoli” event was in support of NYPD wife Debbie Rispoli, who is battling Multiple Myeloma, and doubled as memorial to the late Sergeant Bobby Petrone.

Canci, a six-time cancer survivor, expected the evening to be one of the biggest events his Five Time Foundation ever hosted — and it surely didn’t disappoint. Doors opened at 8 and Big Nose Kate’s was filled to capacity by 10 p.m.

Big Nose Kates is located at 2484 Arthur Kill Road; 718-227-3282. Check out some photos from the rockin’ evening. Missed the event? No worries. Check out 5xfoundation.org for the next chance to party for a cause.
